If you're shopping for an SEO Stack alternative, you probably like the product and balk at the plan. SEO Stack, built by the agency Assertive Media, is a full analytics suite. It warehouses Search Console data past the 16-month limit, joins it with GA4, tracks LLM citations and has its own AI assistant. Plans start at $129.99 a month for ten sites.

Month17 does the warehouse part only, for $10 a site.

SEO Stack's pricing and retention are from its public pricing page in October 2026. Plans change, so check it before you decide.

Pick SEO Stack if you report on revenue or need dashboards

Revenue reporting needs search and GA4 data in one place, and Month17 doesn't touch GA4. Client dashboards and LLM citation tracking are missing from Month17 as well. SEO Stack covers all of them.

The price gap also closes at ten sites. Month17 will cost $100 a month for ten once paid plans start, about $30 less than SEO Stack's Basic plan. At that size the extra features cost little.

Pick Month17 if you only need the archive, for longer than five years

Month17 archives Search Console, keeps it forever and serves it to the AI tools you already use. If that's the whole job, three sites cost $30 a month instead of $129.99.

Retention is the other difference. Five years sounds generous until year four, when your oldest data starts expiring again. Those oldest rows are the ones nobody can rebuild, so Month17 keeps them with no cap.

Neither tool can recover data Google has already deleted, so the choice matters less than starting this month. Month17 is free during early access and your data leaves with you if you switch later. The data loss calculator shows which of your months expire next.
